Compliance Assurance
Because of our commitment to complying with all federal and state laws and preventing fraud and abuse of the system, we have strict policies in place to ensure Medicare compliance. These procedures include educating key personnel on current regulations; identify the risk areas for fraud, waste and abuse; ensuring the integrity of the Medi-Bill Systems’ information system; resolving ambiguities in client paperwork; and ensuring duplicate bills are not submitted.

Facility Support
Medi-Bill Systems monitors the billing activities of all clients on a quarterly basis. If a problem is identified in our office, we will contact your facility to start working toward a speedy resolution. Because of our active involvement, you can rest assured that you will stay in compliance even though we aren’t there monitoring your paperwork on a daily basis.

Standard reporting
The monthly management summary reporting package includes the following reports:
- Active resident listing to identify all active beneficiaries in the MBS system
- Insurance filed summary to illustrate the claims filed for each beneficiary and the dollar amount of the claims
- Net income report to show the net income produced by the claim payment, factoring in the billing fee and an estimated cost of goods
- Financial log to track claims submission and the amounts of payments and co-payments
- Unsigned CMN listing to list active beneficiaries for which MBS has not received the signed CMN
- 20% insurance co-pay to report each beneficiary’s applied payment and indicate the co-payment amount that is due from which payer
